Glen Oaks Golf Club

Spring is in the air and Junior Golf is just around the corner. Glen Oaks once again welcomes Junior Golfers to experience the game of a lifetime! Instruction will be each Monday from April 20th through May 18th from 5:00—6:00pm, and is FREE for members. For non-members, Junior Golf seasonal memberships are available for ages 12—17 for $200, including golf and pool privileges. This membership runs from April 20th through September 7th. In addition, the Catawba Valley Junior Golf League is available for all participants for a registration fee of $20, which provides for play at other area golf courses. Match Play Club Championship Coming this Spring! Details will be posted in the pro ship within the next few weeks. Defending champion, Barry Harbinson.

For our men golfers 55 and older, the WPSGA offers a great opportunity to play some of the areas finest courses at an affordable rate. This season includes 17 tournaments played each Monday from April 6th through October 19th, ending at Glen Oaks. Weekly entry fee is $25 and includes green fee, cart fee, and flight prizes. Lunch will be provided twice during the season. A points system is used for scoring. Please contact the pro shop to sign up.

For golfers 60 and older, Senior Days continue all day Monday, Tuesday & Thursday, plus Wednesday mornings until 9:00 am, Rates are $22 including cart & green fee.

Tim Whitener & Chad Brown will be serving as Captains for the Glen Oaks team, competing in play against Lincoln CC, Lark
Haven, and Cramer Mountain. Matches will be from May through August. The fee is $15 with sign-up through the pro shop. Please note that you must have a CGA handicap to play.

The pool is scheduled to open May 23rd. Come on over to cool off and chill out!
